This tool provides cross-sectional dimensions and properties for the most commonly used European structural steel profiles, including IPE, HEA, HEB, HEM, UPN, equal leg angles (L), square hollow sections (SHS), rectangular hollow sections (RHS), and circular hollow sections (CHS).
Dimensions are presented in accordance with the relevant European standards: EN 10365:2017 for open sections (IPE, HEA, HEB, HEM, UPN), EN 10056-1:1998 for equal leg angles, and EN 10219:2006 / EN 10210:2006 for hollow sections. Cross-sectional areas and linear mass values are nominal values as published by the respective standards.
Use the search field to quickly locate a specific profile designation, or browse by series using the navigation panel. The cross-section diagram updates in real time to reflect the selected profile’s proportions.
